My Everyday Seint Makeup Routine For Mature Skin

Hi friends!

Thanks for joining me here on the blog! I did an Instagram live this past week showing how I do my everyday Seint makeup routine and wanted to recap it here on the blog too!

If you have been following me for a bit, you will know that I love Seint! It is a frequently used product and it has been a fun thing to share with you all. If you want to learn all about Seint, check out this page! I also have a designated tab on my website in the top left corner called Seint Makeup!

One of my favorite things about Seint is how well it suits mature skin and in the Instagram live, I talked about how! Let’s break it down more.

FIRST THING!

It has been a recent trend to use a “dots” process for applying makeup, which looks really easy and fun and is maybe a good process for young skin. But in my opinion, I do not think it’s the best method for mature, textured skin. I prefer using a layered, soft blending look much more and Seint is perfect for this.

NOW TO START!

Always do your skin prep for the best foundation for your makeup. I like a few different skin primers, but all of them do not include silicon so the primer has more “grip”. Don’t forget to press the primer into your skin gently, it’s made to fill in your skin! Are you having trouble with your pores? You might be using a color that’s too light - it will show all the pores and texture more. Try a darker shade!

NEXT UP!

I start with the areas that need the most attention with the highlight cream and blend it out. Then, I come back around with a demi color and focus on my eyes. I lightly spot brush around my eyes and then use a fluffy brush to blend out. It feels and looks very natural.

PROTIP!

Whenever you think you need to add more under-eye products, wait until you have fully completed your look! You’ll be surprised by how it all comes together, and you didn’t really need it.

LET’S TALK ABOUT THE “DOTS”

My two main thoughts about the “dot” method are

  1. Not everyone needs contour.

  2. If you do contour, it will be different on every face.

For contour and bronzer, I like to keep it light, only focusing on the tops of my cheekbone, brushing up, and sometimes my hairline. I like my contour to stay put, and the dots method seems to blend it all around into spots I do not need it. I say, less it more.

THE FINISHING TOUCHES

To finish off your face, I used a small amount of powder to set around my eyes and any other spots that get oily quickly, this does wonders.

When it comes to makeup for mature skin, I want to encourage you with two things!

  1. Get the right shade - this makes a huge difference

  2. Work with someone to help you in the process

Our goal!

IS TO HAVE YOUR MAKEUP JUST LOOK LIKE YOUR SKIN ON ITS BEST DAY! NOTHING OVERLY DONE OR DIFFICULT.

I hope this blog recap of my everyday makeup routine using Seint was helpful! Mature skin deserves
